Hit ok or x and i can get the popup to go away. Mode = make sure this setting matches programmer board Multiplexed Master Clear with pull-up/input pin Programmable code protection High Endurance Flash/EEPROM cell: - 100,000 write Flash endurance - 1,000,000 write EEPROM endurance - Flash/Data EEPROM retention: > 40 years Program memory Read/Write during run time In-Circuit Debugger (on board) Low-Power Features: Standby. If i do the above and use com 1 instead of 2 the error message i get is check 'read chip info' and i get 'COM port inactive, cannot execute selected function' hit ok or x and i can get the popup to go away. upon start of MicroBrn.exe i get the main application window with an error popup in front of it, there appears to be a problem accessing the COM port. as point of reference top of application window says 'DIY K150 v150807'. that i should buy another PIC like on board, and install it in and program it with hex file that comes with the software. chip selector set to 12F675 and chip is in place. and the guy said when i download K150 programmer software, mine is K150. in MicroBrn.exe verified port was set to match as com 2. started MicroBrn.exe and the programmer was automatically selected as K150. i have gone into device manager and verified the 'prolific usb to serial comm port (com 2)', was set to a single digit port number which i read is the only type the unit will work on. i have plugged in via usb the programmer. brilliant design, minus the fact they should indicate which end is up. and i see that depending on which chip you choose depends on where you place it, which is shown on screen.
